About
My name is Kris. I am 26 and a little person (also known as a dwarf) and would not have it any other way. My main focus areas of tech are centered around photography, multimedia design, and web site development. More on that later.
The purpose of this blog is to write about what I am passionate about — technology. As a happy owner of a 15” MacBook Pro, I am an avid Mac user. However, I would not classify myself as an Apple ‘fanboy’. What I love most about computers, the internet, and technology in general is watching how its shaped our daily lives. Technology has impacted us from the most intimate daily living to our society and the way we communicate as a whole. It changes every day and there’s always something new. That is what makes this field so exciting to work in and write about.
I am a full time web developer for Rockcastle Regional Hospital. While I do love my job, I still love taking the freelance side projects in web design and photography as they come along.
I also enjoy public speaking. Being a little person has allowed me to share experiences with a vast array of people throughout my life. Experiences that I hope have enriched people’s lives. If you’re interested in having me speak, feel free to drop me an email.
